Stoumile sentenced to 15 years in jail for Hagar Street Apartments shooting

BECKLEY - A man who admitted to firing shots with an assault rifle at the Hagar Street Apartments last December was sentenced Friday to 15 years in jail.

Raymond Stoumile, 27, is sentenced to five years each for charges of wanton endangerment and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.  Stoumile also receives an enhanced sentence for being a repeat offender. Judge Burnside also orders that the firearm be destroyed and gives Stoumile credit for time served.
