CHARLESTON - A program aimed at giving luggage, duffel bags, and personal-care items to kids transitioning to foster care sought donations.
The "Carry on Campaign" kicked off it's Thanksgiving holiday collection drive in Southern West Virginia Friday. The campaign supported children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect.
Collected items are distributed by Mission West Virginia. Other donated items needed include: non-perishable snacks, stuffed animals, brushes, combs, blankets, crayons, and coloring books.
Items can be dropped off at designated collection points across the state.
