UPDATE: Second arrest made in 2 year old murder case

UPDATE 11/13/13 - A second arrest is made in a murder investigation that's been underway for more than two years.               

Oscar Ross Combs Jr., 21, is charged with first degree murder, in connection to the death of James "Bo" Butler, 55 of Hinton. Combs' father, Oscar Ross Combs Sr., was also arrested and charged with first degree murder.

Sergeant Michael Baylous with The West Virginia State Police say that Butler was reported missing back on April 5th of 2011. His body was found two weeks later on Crumpler Road in Wyoming County. Troopers believed Butler died from a gunshot wound.

Baylous says information troopers received connects both men to the crime.

HERNDON - An arrest was made in a murder investigation that's been underway for more than two years.

Oscar Ross Combs, 44, was arrested Monday and charged with first degree murder in connection to the death of James "Bo" Butler, 55, of Hinton.  

First Sergeant Michael Baylous with the West Virginia State Police said that Butler was reported missing from his Summers County residence back on April 5, 2011.  Baylous said his body was found two weeks later on Crumpler Road in Wyoming County.  According to investigators, Butler was believed to have died from a gunshot wound.

Baylous said information troopers received connected Combs to the crime.  He said the investigation is ongoing.
