CHARLESTON - A holiday tree that honors the state's first responders will be on display at the Capitol.
Governor Earl Ray Tomblin and First Lady Joanne Jaeger Tomblin invited residents to contribute pictures of friends and loved ones who are firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical workers. The photos must be received by November 27th and cannot be returned.
Forms to accompany the pictures can be downloaded by clicking here
or through firstlady.wv.gov. They can also be sent to the First Lady at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The "First Responders Recognition Tree" will be on display during the holiday season in the Governor's Reception room in Charleston.
