OAK HILL - A county wide event brings Halloween a few days early this year for one local neighborhood.
The Fayette County 4H group and kids are trick-or-treating for canned food goods and non perishable items in the Hidden Valley community. They are collecting the goods and donating them to local food pantries. Organizers explain its a good event for everyone.
"It shows the kids that we need to give back to the community and help those around us. And they enjoy doing it, they love helping out. We did this last year and the kids really liked it and got a lot of food for the pantry so we decided to do it again," said Mindy Osborne.
