HINTON - A Beckley man is arrested and now facing a laundry list of charges in Summers County after authorities say he caused damage to a local business.

Timothy Mark Kinser, 47, was arrested Thursday on a felony count of destruction of property, petit larceny and driving with a suspended license, according to the Hinton Police Department's Facebook page.

With the help of tips from the public, authorities linked him to the damage and theft at the River Wash Car Wash in Hinton on Oct. 15.

Police Chief Derek Snavely said Kinser was identified and arrested less than 90 minutes after this surveillance video went public.

“We’d like to send our sincere thanks to everyone who gave information and tips to help us identify Mr. Kinser," Snavely said. "We rely heavily on public support to solve all types of crimes. This is a great example of people coming together and working with their police department to catch criminals."

Kinser was out on parole for several theft charges when he was taken into custody. He remains in southern regional jail.
