New Jersey man arrested in Beckley

BECKLEY - A New Jersey man is behind bars on drug charges.

Detective David Farley says an investigation conducted by the Beckley Police Department led to the arrest of a New Jersey man, Terrance Raheem Simmons.

An investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics led police to a Beckley motel room where he was staying. The police department seized a quantity of both heroin and cocaine and $3,000 in cash.

Simmons is charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.
