UPDATE: Police arrest two suspects on unrelated charges following investigation into reported armed robbery

UPDATE: Police released new details surrounding the reported armed robbery at the 7-Eleven in Montgomery Monday morning.  Police said that through their investigation, officers arrested two subjects on unrelated charges after they brought them in for questioning. 

According to a release from the Montgomery Police Department, investigators were able to identify three possible suspects with the help of in-store surveillance video.  Officers located the subjects and brought them in for questioning.  Two of the three were arrested and taken to Kanawha County Magistrate Court.  

The suspects identities and charges have yet to be released.  

Police said that this is still an active investigation.

ORIGINAL STORY 10/21/2013:

MONTGOMERY - Police in Fayette County responded to the scene of a reported armed robbery early Monday morning.

Dispatchers said it happened at the 7-Eleven store on 3rd Avenue in Montgomery at around 4:50 a.m.

Not too many other details are known at this time, but officers from the Montgomery Police Department and Fayette County Sheriff's Department are investigating.
