Seniors want marijuana legalized

CHARLESTON - West Virginia's mock senior legislature is asking the real state congress to legalize marijuana.
The Silver-Haired Legislature proposed the legalization in one of several position papers during its 2013 session in Charleston.  The paper says revenue from taxing the drug should contribute to drug-rehabilitation programs and reforming the prison system.  It goes on to add that 20 states and the District of Columbia have given it the green light for medical purposes, and these laws don't appear to have caused any serious problems.
