FAYETTEVILLE - There are many ways to raise awareness for breast cancer but a local resident is doing something a little different to help raise money.
The NRG Ink tattoo shop in Fayetteville is giving $20 dollar tattoos this Friday and Saturday to help raise money for Terri's Tribute, a local breast cancer awareness group. There are 15 designs to choose from, 12 being West Virginia designs and three are different ribbons, and you can get any color on the ribbons not just pink. The owner tells Newswatch it is something different and fun to do.
"A lot of people use Tattoos a lot of different ways to help cope with things, celebrate things for closure, for everything and I feel like were going to have a lot of that in the shop and hear a lot of good stories and make a lot of good memories," said Brittany Woodrum.
You don't have to get a tattoo to be able to donate. You can walk in and drop your donation in a bucket that will be at the shop.
