Arnett - Authorities identify the man shot to death during a carjacking in Raleigh County, and they arrest a suspect. Raleigh County Sheriff's detectives arrested 29-year-old Mickey Roger Daniel Jr. of Edwight early Sunday morning and charged him with first degree murder and conspiracy to commit a felony. They say Daniel shot and killed 77-year-old Johnny Nile Condia of Dameron during a carjacking in Arnett Friday evening.  Police found Condia lying in the middle of the road, saying his car had been stolen.  He later died from his injuries at Raleigh General Hospital. Police have since recovered the car and processed it for evidence.  Daniel is in Southern Regional Jail awaiting his bond hearing in circuit court.  The sheriff's department says this is still an ongoing investigation.

RALEIGH COUNTY - One man is dead after a car jacking turns into a shooting in Raleigh County.

Dispatchers say it happened on Saxon Bolt Road in the Arnett area just before 6 p.m. Friday. The Raleigh County Sheriffs Office says the victim was found laying on the roadway after reporting to police that his car had been taken. He was transported to Raleigh General Hospital where he later died from his injuries. The victim's car was located by detectives and is being processed for evidence. Deputies are withholding his identity at this time and are following up with some leads. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Department or Crimestoppers.

RALEIGH COUNTY - Dispatchers say a carjacking in Raleigh County has led to shots fired.  It happened just before 6:00 PM Friday on Saxon Bolt Road.
