Two men arrested for alleged vehicle break-ins

RAINELLE - Two men faced a combined total of 99 counts on three charges after they're arrested in Greenbrier County.

Garry Martin, 23, and Jimmy Rush, 18, both of Rainelle, are accused of breaking into multiple vehicles in the town. Police Chief J.P. Stevens said the incidents happened in between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Wednesday.  Stevens said Martin and Rush stole tools, money, GPS systems, and other goods.  He said they both confessed to the crimes too. 

Police were able to recover most of the stolen items.

Martin was charged with 18 counts of petit larceny, 18 counts of breaking and entering of a vehicle, and 18 counts of conspiracy.  Rush faced 15 counts each of the same three charges.

Both were booked in Southern Regional Jail awaiting their arraignment scheduled for Thursday.
