BLUEFIELD - State police have identified the man that was found dead in Bluefield Friday night.

Sgt. D. W. Miller said that Curtis Wayne Sluss, 47, was discovered dead on Bulltail Hollow Road at around 7:45 p.m.  Miller said there wasn't an obvious cause of death, so Sluss's body was sent to Charleston for an autopsy.  Miller also said that they don't know exactly where Sluss was from, but believe he may have lived in the area.

Troopers hoped that the results of the autopsy would help in their investigation, but for now they called the death "suspicious."
