MORGANTOWN - A West Virginia University Economic Forecast showed the state should expect to have steady, but minor job growth during the next few years.
The WVU College of Business and Economics outlined the forecast. Research Director John Deskins said the state added about 3,000 jobs over the past year, along with personal income growth that exceeded the nation's average. Deskins said that while uncertainties exist in the U.S. and global economy, the state should post job gains of about one-percent annually in the coming years.
