BECKLEY - The United Way of Southern West Virginia teams up with non profit groups to help provide needs and services to the community. Saturday they were out and about to showcase some of those partners.
People stopped by the Crossroads Mall in Beckley to see some of the organizations under the United Way umbrella. Their goal is to raise $525,000 through donations and events to help these organizations better meet the needs of the area in their specific ways. The United Way of Southern West Virginia serves Raleigh, Fayette, Nicholas, Wyoming and Summers counties.
