Four charged with operating a meth lab in Greenbrier County

RAINELLE - A traffic stop in Greenbrier County leads State Police to a meth lab.

On Sunday at around 11pm State Police pulled over a car near the Rainelle area. The stop lead to the discovery of a misdemeanor possession, Trooper First Class Snyder then obtained information of a possible meth lab location. Trooper W.S.Snyder along with deputies from the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department got a search warrant for 737 South Sewell Street in Rainelle. At the residence meth making materials and what is presumed to be a meth lab were discovered.

James Avery, Thomas Sanford, Angalique Ramsey, all of Ranielle were charged with operating a clandestine meth lab. Rickard Barker of Eccles was also charged. Avery is also facing a Fugitive from Justice charge from the state of Georgia. All four remain in Southern Regional Jail.
