OAK HILL - A lifelong West Virginia resident celebrated her 100th birthday Wednesday in her favorite fast food restaurant.
Eunice Garten, who was born in Summers County back in 1913, was alongside friends and family at the Oak Hill McDonald's. The group celebrated her milestone birthday with a cake, McDonald's meal, and a special gift from her good friends. Garten told Newswatch she's happy to be in good company.
"We like the people that's here as much as anything else, and food, and they have good coffee, and we like the atmosphere. All the people that comes here and we got acquainted with."
Garten said she was tired from all the partying, but doesn't get tired of the presents.
