FAYETTEVILLE - Students at Fayetteville High School did not have to attend class today because the building didn't have electricity.

Fayette County Schools Transportation Director Gary Hough told Newswatch that the tops of several power poles were broken, leaving the school without electricity.

Appalachian Power Crews were on scene Friday morning repairing the damages.
