Drugs, guns and money found in Princeton

PRINCETON - A warrant served in Mercer County Tuesday resulted in a huge bust that included, drugs, cash and weapons.

Princeton Police Captain Keith Compton tells Newswatch Alfonso Washington Jr., 31 of High Street in Princeton was arrested around 8:30 Tuesday morning for a parole violation on felony drug charges. A search of the residence by Princeton Police and The West Virginia Parole Office resulted in the discovery of more than $18,600 in cash, 2 pistols, 15 baggies of pot, totaling close to 15 grams and other drug paraphernalia. Compton adds charges from from Tuesdays search are pending.

Washington is being held at The Mercer County Sheriff's Department pending arraignment.
