FAYETTEVILLE - Fayetteville High School is playing host to more than just high school students this week.

The Coda Mountain Academy of Music is kicking off their after school music program by holding a day camp this week. The after school program starts the 3rd week in September at Fayetteville High School which started with a grant from the Fayette County School Board for a reason other than music.

"Part of the incentive of the board of education is to address the drop out rate and give kids an identity and something to work towards a craft and art and something fun to do after school," said Esther Morey of the Coda Mountain Academy of Music.

The Music Academy is finishing this weeks camp with a performance on Friday.
