Man arrest for failing to register change of address

BECKLEY - A Beckley man convicted of child neglect is behind bars again for failing to register a change of address.

John Miller, 30 was taken into custody Wednesday by State Police, after they discovered he relocated from his last Beckley address in July. 

Child abuse registrants must notify law enforcement of a change in information within 10 days of a move. Miller turned himself in on warrants for two misdemeanor counts of failing to register as a child abuser with a possible sentence of one year each and up to a 10 thousand dollar fine.

He was convicted in 2007 for child neglect creating risk of injury of a three-year-old child.
