LEWISBURG - A man wanted in Georgia was arrested in Greenbrier County early Tuesday morning.

Derrick Kimbrel, 23, was taken into custody after police found him passed out in his vehicle in the parking lot of the Exxon Station on Coleman Drive in Lewisburg at around 3:45 a.m.  Police Chief Tim Stover said that officers performed a routine check on Kimbrel's license and found that he was wanted for a parole violation on the offense of making terroristic threats.  Stover also said he had apparently been drinking and was in the area visiting his girlfriend who lives in the western end of the county.

He's charged with being a fugitive from justice and remains in Southern Regional Jail pending extradition back to Georgia.
