UPDATE: Police search for man accused of robbing a delivery driver

UPDATE - Deputies continued to investigate the armed robbery of a delivery driver in the Harper Heights area Monday night.

According to officials, the incident happened at 9:20 p.m. on Kent Street.  Deputies said that as the driver tried to make a delivery, he was approached by a black man dressed in a red hoodie with a teal colored cloth that covered his face.  Than man brandished a firearm and demanded money from the driver.  The driver complied and the man took off.  That's when the driver left and called 911.  No one was injured in the incident.

HARPER HEIGHTS - An armed robbery in Raleigh County is under investigation.

911 Dispatchers say the call came in around 9:30pm Monday, at a residence in Harper Heights.  A food delivery person was robbed at gunpoint, not much information is available at this time.

 State Police and The Raleigh County Sheriff's Department both responded. Stick with us as more information becomes available.
