BECKLEY - The Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital (ARH) is getting ready to open a state-of-the-art floor as part of a multi-million dollar renovation.
The hospital now has nineteen private rooms on the fourth floor. These rooms will be available to patients starting Monday.
Rocco Massey, community CEO of Beckley ARH, said the new rooms promote healing. "They're designed with patients' safety in mind and they're designed to reduce infections," he explained. "So all those components come together to give them the very best healing experience that they can possibly receive."
Renovations to the hospital's exterior are part of the $10 million project. Massey said this project is an investment to ensure quality healthcare for the community.
