OAK HILL - If you're looking to get into the music industry and want to learn more about how to be successful then here is your chance. The Blue Diamond Recording Studio is hosting successful musician and producer Dick McVey who will be giving seminars throughout the week on how to be successful in the music business.
McVey has played more than 500 times at the Grand Ole Opry as a bass player and has worked with country artists such as George Jones and Trace Adkins. The seminars are $25 a person if you register in advance and $30 dollars at the door.

Monday, July 29 - "How to Make Money with Your Music" 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Blue Diamond Recording Studio.
Tuesday, July 30 - "Songwriters - What You Need to Know" 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Beckley's Old Federal Courthouse.
Wednesday, July 31 - "Songwriter's Critique Night" 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Beckley's Old Federal Courthouse.
