BECKLEY - A Raleigh County man is found not guilty in court for allegedly attempting to rape a young woman and for harassing her during the course of several years.

Ronald Collins, Jr., 33, originally of MacArthur, took the stand Thursday in Day Two of his trial. Collins had faced two misdemeanor charges of assault and stalking.

Judge Hutchison found him in contempt of court, so he was sentenced to ten days in Southern Regional Jail. Collins is under indictments for child pornography in a separate court case, according to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

Collins garnered attention for a series of videos he posted on YouTube in which he expresses his opinions on a variety of topics, including local law enforcement.
