CHARLESTON - A member of the House of Delegates asked Attorney General Patrick Morrisey to help in efforts aimed at combating methamphetamine labs.
Health and Human Resources Committee Chairman Don Perdue asked Morrisey to investigate sales of pseudoephedrine. The common cold medicine is an ingredient in the manufacturing of meth. Perdue also asked Morrisey to take any legal action against drug companies that make the cold medicine while knowing it's diverted into the substance.
A spokeswoman said that the Attorney General's Office will review the request.
