Salvation Army in need

Local - 6/28/2013 5:21 PM
BECKLEY - The Salvation Army in Beckley is finding themselves on a different side of a disaster. This week's storms brought almost two feet of water and sewage into the administration offices, causing them to lose all the proceeds from the last several food drives, as well as a nursery and a pool table.  The damage will cost an estimated $50 thousand to $100 thousand, and officials are not sure at this time how much insurance will cover. They are asking for monetary and food donations to help them recover.
