Man on rafting trip sent to the hospital

Nuttallburg - an out of state man is taken to the hospital after falling out of a raft on a trip down the New River.

Just after 1:15pm Tuesday a raft entered a double z rapid near Nuttallburg and rafters fell out raft guides pulled the individuals back into the boat.

A 42-year-old man from Ohio was unconscious when he was rescued. The man received CPR and was revived and taken to the hospital is current condition is unknown at this time.

National park service rangers continue to investigate.
