CHARLESTON - A quilt commemorating the state's 150th anniversary was unveiled by First Lady Joanne Tomblin.

The Division of Culture and History said more than 70 quilters from across the state worked on the sesquicentennial quilt and were invited to attend Monday's unveiling at the Culture Center.  The squares are made from Civil War-era fabric and each of the 55 counties are represented by at least one block.

The quilt will be on display at the Culture Center as part of the Division of Culture and History's WV150 exhibit.
