LEWISBURG: The Greenbrier Historical Society opened a new exhibit Friday called "Bunkhouses May be Cold."

The display showed the history of the Greenbrier wood hicks and discussed the rise of the lumber industry in the Greenbrier Valley.  It included life in the lumber camps and showcased a collection of pictures from various timber operations.

The exhibit will be on display until June 10th at the Greenbrier Historical Society's North House Museum in Lewisburg.  It is free and open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
