BLUEFIELD- A woman is sentenced for her part in a 2011 murder in Mercer County
39 year-old Tammy Lee Keen of Princeton was sentenced Monday for her part in the death of Timothy Dewitt in March of 2011. The body of the 41 year-old Princeton man was found on Evades Mill Road near the gorge area of Bluestone Falls. Keen was sentenced to 40 years for second degree murder and ten years for first degree robbery, the sentences are to run consecutively. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office says Keen may be eligible for parole in 16 and a half years.
A second person was also sentenced Monday for his part in the death of Dewitt. 39 year-old Thomas Tyler Hall was sentenced to 40 years in prison for second degree murder. Hall was facing indictments on first degree murder, robbery and conspiracy.
