Fertilizer plant exploded in Texas

WEST, TX.- An explosion at a fertiliazer plant in the town of West, Texas near Waco were dozens are injured, possibly killed.

The explosion at the plant sent flames leaping into the sky. There are reports of numerous deaths and injuries. Dozens of emergency crews responded to the blast. Ten buildings were reported to be on fire, including a school.

Officials have set up a traige center on the football field at a High School to treat the injured until they could be transported to local hospitals.

There is concern about possible chemical forced officials to evacuate the area. The explosion could be heard and felt from miles and knocked out power to many.
