UPDATE: Two arrested in connection with Bradley robbery

UPDATE -  Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a local market.

Emmanuel Green and Leonard Higginbotham, 19, both of Mount Hope, are charged with First Degree Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony and Child Neglect with Risk of Injury.

Deputies said the two were arrested Thursday in connection with attempting to rob Eddie's Market in Bradley last Friday.  Witnesses said one suspect came in with a knife and demanded money, but an employee told him no and the two suspects drove off. During the crime employees said they saw a baby in the backseat.

Green and Higginbotham are on their way to Southern Regional Jail.

BRADLEY - A suspect and the getaway driver are on the run after they attempted to rob a Raleigh County store.

The owner of Eddie's Market said it happened around 10:30 AM.

A black man, wearing a black mask and blue sweatshirt, pulled out a knife and demanded an employee to give him money.  She said no and he fled in a blue sedan.  Employees said the suspects had a baby in the back of the car.
