Funeral arrangements made for coal miner

OAK HILL - Funeral arrangements have been made for the coal miner who died on the job Tuesday.

Visitation for John Myles, 44, of Hilltop is set for Saturday at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral home on West Maple Avenue in Fayetteville from 6 to 8PM. The funeral will again be held at Dodd-Payne-Hess at one o'clock Sunday.

Myles will be buried with military honors.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Oak Hill and a coal miner at Pocahontas Coal Company's Affinity Mine is Sophia, where he was killed on the job Tuesday evening.

Myles leaves behind a wife and six children.
