HILLTOP - More than a day after another West Virginia miner is killed on the job neighbors of the Fayette County miner react to the loss.

John Myles, 44, of Hilltop was killed Tuesday night at Pocahontas Coal Company's Affinity Mine.  Mine officials said  Myles was shoveling coal ribs when the accident happened.  This comes just two weeks after Edward L. Finney, 43, of Bluefield was killed at the same mine.  One of Myles' neighbor said he will truly be missed in the community.

"Maybe they just need to check and make sure that this won't happen again, that another family wont have to go through this hardship of losing a loved one.  That's what I want to see come out of it, because it was very shocking that it was the same place and then when they told me it was Johnny. I mean it just touched my heart so, I hate it for the family," said Freda Adkins, neighbor.

Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced by the family.
