PRINCETON - The fate of one of the last Civil War era homes in Princeton remains undecided. Judge Sadler heard testimony Wednesday morning from a number of people weighing in on whether to restore or destroy the old Johnson house on West Main Street. He scheduled another hearing for next Tuesday to decide whether he will allow the home to be torn down. The property is currently for sale, and officials say it would take nearly a million dollars to renovate. This is one of two Civil War era homes in Princeton that was not completely destroyed by fire.
