One dead after accident on I-77

CAMP CREEK - A Mercer County man is dead after he crashed into the back of snow plow late Friday night.

Turnpike State Police said it happened just before midnight at mile marker 21 on I-77, near Camp Creek.

Charles W. Rose, 62, of Princeton, drove into the back of a West Virginia snow removal truck.  Police said he died as a result of his injuries.

It was snowing at the time of the accident, but it's unclear if weather played a role in the accident.
