HICO: Six people were sent to the hospital after a car accident in Fayette County.

Dispatchers said the head-on collision happened around 4:15 Friday afternoon on Route 60 in the Hico area.  Two people were airlifted to Charleston Area Medical Center, and four were transported to a local hospital.  Traffic was delayed during their recovery.

No other details are known at this time.
