UPDATE: Second home invasion reported in Fayette County

UPDATE (1/31/2013): Police investigate a second home invasion in Fayette County in a matter of two days.

The call came into 911 dispatchers as an attempted armed robbery. It happened around 7:45 last night, on Blue Jay Road in Scarbro. Deputies said that a masked man came into the home demanding money, but the victim refused to turn anything over, at which time the suspect fired his gun into the floor, then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a blue bandana over his face. The firearm used was a small caliber handgun.

SCARBRO- Police investigate a second home invasion in Fayette County in a matter of two days.

According to 911 dispatchers Sheriff's Deputies and State Police were both called out to a home on Blue Jay Road around 7:45pm Wednesday evening. The call came in as a home invasion, no injuries were reported.The Sheriff's Department says they're not releasing any information at this time, stick with Newswatch as this story develops.
