Two Fayette County men are arrested for their part in a breaking and entering over the weekend.

Raymond Heath Shockey, 30, and Michael Ray Cooley, 27, both of Fayetteville, were arrested and charged with breaking and entering.  Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies said the two apparently used a hammer to break into Ball's Grocery outside of Fayetteville early Saturday morning.  Investigators also said that the men stole several cigarette cartons and attempted to pry open an ATM.

Cooley was released on bond, while Shockey was lodged in Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.  Shockey was on probation at the time of his arrest for an earlier criminal conviction for breaking and entering into the same store. Additional charges are pending.

The incident remains under investigation.
