LEWISBURG - HospiceCare is moving forward with plans to expand patient care in the Greenbrier Valley. They are hoping to break ground for a new inpatient facility behind their current office in Fairlea in late spring or early summer. The eight bedroom addition will be for those who are unable to live unassisted or do not have a primary caregiver. The project will cost between $2.1 to $2.5 million. HospiceCare has raised about half that amount so far, and they are asking for the community's help to get the rest raised before construction begins. You can donate by calling (304) 645-2700, online or by stopping by the office.
