Salvation Army needs help

BECKLEY - The cold weather is keeping the Salvation Army busy helping those in need.  The organization says almost twice as many people have come through their doors needing assistance with utility bills, groceries and shelter as the temperatures continue to drop.  However, they fell short of their donations goal for the holiday season, so it is a challenge to meet every need.  They are asking for people to keep in mind that just because the Christmas season has passed, it is still important to give to others.  If you are interested in donating food, clothes or money, you can do so online, on the phone or by stopping by their Beckley office.
