The West Virginia Ethics Commission has postponed a hearing on ethics allegations against Beckley Mayor Emmett Pugh.
The hearing was set for January 28th in Beckley. A new hearing date has yet to be scheduled. The commission filed civil charges in March alleging Pugh received more than $12,000 worth of ownership interests in companies in exchange for providing city contracts and free use of city resources. Pugh denies the allegations.
