Police in McDowell County have shut down the second meth lab in less than a week, and two men are now behind bars.
Officials say it happened around 12:30 Monday morning at a residence on Junior Poca Hill in War. War Police with the help from the McDowell County Sheriff's Office and the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force say they found an operating meth lab.
Timothy Stone (pictured above) and Thomas Perkins were both taken into custody. Stone is charged with one count of operating a meth lab, child neglect creating risk of injury, and felony conspiracy. He's currently being held on $75,000 cash only bond. Perkins is being held on $50,000 cash only bond. The two are currently in the McDowell County holding facility.
