Wyoming County Man Allegedly Attacked His Own Grandparents

UPDATE 1/14/2013:
A Wyoming County man accused of violently beating his grandparents was arraigned today in magistrate court.

Medwin Willard, 33, was arraigned on two charges of malicious wounding, two charges of violence against the elderly and one grand larceny charge. He also faces three kidnapping charges, however a court date has not been set. Willard did not waive his preliminary hearing and probable cause was found to send the case to the grand jury in May. Willard is being held in southern regional jail on $100,000 bond.

A Wyoming County man is arrested after deputies said he kidnapped and attacked his grandparents.

Medwin Willard, 33, of Baileysville allegedly beat and kicked his grandparents and held both of them and a juvenile against their will, then stole their car. The elderly woman was flown to a hospital and the man was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

Willar is charged with charged with two counts of Malicious Wounding, three counts of Kidnapping, Grand Larceny and two counts of Neglect or Abuse Against the Elderly. 

Their names have not been released, and their conditions were not available at this time.

Willar remains in the Southern Regional Jail.
