A Quiet Stretch of Weather.....and Warmer!!!!

Good Morning! Happy Friday!!

As we start the first weekend of this fresh year, a decent weekend is in the cards. Most of the weekend will be dry across the region, but their might be a hick up going into Sunday. Storm down to our south will come close enough to the region that it could throw a few flurries or sprinkles in places in the morning hours.

Once this storm system moves away, we move into a dry period of weather with high pressure taking control to our south...allowing for some much warmer air to enter the region. Most of us are into the 40s Monday and Tuesday with a run at 50 degrees possible on Wednesday.

We will have a rain check written by mother nature during this time period....and it will be cashed Wednesday night into Thursday with scattered showers and even a few thunderstorms in the region.
