Natural Confetti Possible For Midnight...Continues Into 2013.

Good Morning Friends!

As my outfit for tomorrow morning’s morning show is prepped and ready to go, mother nature is preparing to ring in the new year as well. A warmer day is expected on the final day of 2012, but the clouds will be on the increase. A few rain and snow showers are not completely out of the question, but mother nature still isn’t sure if she will have it ready in time for the new year. Regardless, if you will be out tonight, please be safe out on the roadways.

If it does or does not rain or snow at midnight, the chance for precipitation goes up during the first day of 2013 as a storm system will pass down to the south. A mix of rain and snow is looking likely, with a switch to all snow Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Once this threat for precipitation passes, it looks like mother nature will split the flow to our north and south. We will be dealing with the fringes of many of these storms, but with the lack of moisture in a couple of these systems as they swing through.....mainly some more clouds will be added to the forecast as these waves of energy pass overhead.

Temperatures will stay a bit on the cool side, but it is the winter time, so on the cool side means we are stuck around the freezing mark most of the week....with a couple of chances to reach 40 degrees.
