A couple scams their way to a rob a homeowner in Fayette County.

Deputies say it happened at 3:40 Saturday morning on a house on Route 61 near Deepwater Mountain.

Allegedly a man and woman knocked at the door and said their car was broken down then forced their way in.  The suspects brandished a gun and hammer demanding money and pills.  They got away with money but no one was hurt. 

The one suspect is described as a white man about 6'0", medium build. The female is 5'0" skinny to medium build. Both had their faces covered up.  They fled in a small passenger car.
