A Soggy but Warm Weekend Awaits Us!
Good Morning Everyone and a Happy Friday!
A couple very spotty showers dotted the skies yesterday after dark and through the overnight, making things wet on some roadways. The cloud cover above our heads have kept temperatures on the warm side. Due to the lack of sunshine, temperatures will not warm up all that dramatically. Most folks are stuck in the 50s, with those off to a chillier start in the 40s. The rain should stay off to our northwest in Charleston and Huntington, but a few of those showers could sneak in here this afternoon. The computers are indicating that this organization of precipitation will droop itself over our neck of the woods heading into the weekend, so the likelihood of being wet does go up. It will not rain the entire weekend, nor will it rain everywhere at one time. Just keep the umbrella and rain jackets handy this weekend if you venture out to the shops and malls this weekend. A stronger storm system will push in for the early part of next week, bringing with it much cooler air and the possibility of saying a 4 letter word. For now, I will refrain from saying this word and pretend it is Voldemort from the Harry Potter Series.
